⚠ Surface quality guidance
LandXML creates an editable TIN surface in Civil 3D. For large areas reduce point density to avoid performance issues. At minimum make sure Ground (2) classification is selected. Unclassified (1) points can be a tossup between ground or other features and may create unexpected spikes in the surface — the user may need to check and adjust filtering accordingly.
